These socks are made of a stiff WASHI (Japanese paper) yarn dyed with Kasuri and pile-knitted on the inside to give them a unique crisp and refreshing feel. Washi made mainly from Manila hemp used for banknotes, has excellent water-absorbing and moisture-releasing properties as well as being light and durable. These socks are made in Japan, using a special knitting machine and the skills of outstanding craftsmen to knit Washi yarn in a pile, which is difficult.
※Please note that there are individual differences in pattern appearance in Kasuri-dyed yarns.
