Shops of Tokyo contains watercolor plates of old shops illustrated by the Polish artist Mateusz Urbanowicz, who has lived in Japan for many years.

In 2016 he debuted with a series of ten watercolor plates dedicated to these ancient shops in the capital of Japan. The drawings immediately achieved great success, appearing in numerous newspapers and on television broadcasts.

The author therefore decides to complete the series with forty new shops, exploring the architectural variations in the various Tokyo neighborhoods. The book soon ends up becoming a reference guide for all those nostalgic for old Tokyo and illustration enthusiasts.
