"Buttero" was born in Conceria Walpier Co., a tanner in Tuscany, Italy. It is made by the traditional method called "vaqueta manufacturing method", which uses only tannins extracted from plants, and tans the skin over a long period of time to be the leather. The leather used for Buttero is a rare leather of the shoulder part of a steer (adult cow).
